I don�t count that as being solo, really, because when Chris and I were playing together, it was an extension of being in Squeeze. Our personalities were very different, in the way I would go with an audience. I�d keep fairly quiet, as would Chris. And that was fine, that�s what worked for both of us. By myself, I found an entirely different way of dealing with things, because I�m more confident onstage as a solo person than I was as part of a duo.
