The Gathering Quotes

It just occurred to me that I wanted to make some changes in my musical life and in my personal life. I had been in The Gathering for 13 years and I was ready for something else. I came to that conclusion.

When I write, it’s very simple and I record it at home so I don’t forget. When we went into the studio I wanted to have that same atmosphere, so it is straightforward. We did some changes and reworked them and the guys in the band helped make it more airy and beautiful. All in all it is very spiritual, and the music is very poppy and rocky.
