Did You Know:
In 2001, broke up at the peak of their popularity initially going on "indefinite hiatus."

After the break-up of ATDI, Omar and Cedric started The Mars Volta.
Other members including Jim Ward, Paul Hinojos, and Tony Hajjar formed the band Sparta.

DeFacto (formerly De Facto Carde Dub) was the alias for Cedric Bixler and Omar Rodriguez's reggae/dub side project since the early days of At the Drive-In.

DeFacto broke up when Jeremy Ward the vocalist and sound engineer died of a drug overdose in 2003.
